Enjoyed 4 nights stay in woodsman cabin. As advertised it’s quiet and set in lovely countryside. Cabin was a good size for my wife and I, with all the things you need. Bed was vey comfy, other furniture less so. Hot tub felt totally private and there was plenty of wood available to use. The guidance shared beforehand was extensive, helpful and accurate. Walk from parking to cabin is short but steep so not suitable for everyone. Lots of things to do locally for all ages from what we saw. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider going back.

Visited with a couple of friends in early September. We had glorious weather and the cabin was perfect - it met all our needs in terms of facilities and the space is wonderful. You are really nestled in the heart of nature with great views over the Severn Estuary. The front deck area is great to spend an evening with some wine and the wood fired hot tub was excellent - very simple to heat and we definitely made good use of it throughout our stay. There are plenty of walks to do near by and some very cute local towns with lovely cosy pubs. The hosts were excellent and the introduction email detailed everything we needed to know. Thanks for having us, we highly recommend and we will be visiting again.

Lovely well-appointed cabin in the woods, great setting with far reaching views, all sorts of footpaths and trails right from the site. Will definitely look to book again.

Just came back from a really wonderful stay at the woodsman cabin, which is the cabin further down the hill from the other cabin the property own. It was exactly like the pictures, and the view, especially on a clear day, really is exceptional. I absolutely loved how private it was, yet there are lots of things in the surrounding area to do (Puzzlewood was a real treat). The underfloor heating was a great touch as we stayed on a particularly cold weekend in November but the cabin was nice and toasty. Loved the wood burner in the cabin, it made it even more special seeing it whilst listening to the rain outside. Everything ran smoothly and the wood fired hot tub was a real highlight for us. The Resilient Woodland team very kindly took the chill off for us before we arrived, as the weather was so cold that particular weekend, which we were very grateful for. Communication from Resilient Woodlands team was great and all the arrival emails were very detailed. I can't wait to come back, so easy to get to from London and the area is gorgeous - highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in the Woodsman cabin. Amazing peaceful location with stunning views. The cabin was cosy and warm and very well equipped. Our favourites: log burner, very comfy bed, great shower, sharing our breakfast with the robins on the veranda, and of course the hot tub! What a luxury that was… warm when we arrived and only took an hour to get to desired temp. So peaceful and relaxing amongst the trees and nature… we loved it! Thank you x

We booked the Coppice cabin for a couple of days over half term. So glad we did. The location is perfect, easy to find down a lane and nicely secluded even if not actually far off the beaten track. It really is in the true wilderness with fantastic unobstructed views from the cabin across the countryside, over the Severn estuary with England in the distance. The cabin is down a short slope from the parking area. It is a high quality accommodation, very clean, well decorated and furnished and in February the underfloor heating was appreciated. Wet room great for showers, kitchen everything you need and enough space to relax with a bottle of wine after the hot tub. Surrounded by trees and silence (except for the birds) it very relaxing. The hot tub is brilliant. It takes a few hours to heat up but once up to temp it keeps its heat for as long as you add an occasional log. Very easy to light the boiler but it did take more than one sack of wood to get to temperature. We will have no hesitation in booking this again. Thank you so much.

Quiet and cosy cabin getaway in the Forest of Dean with stunning views overlooking the River Severn. Thanks for the generous supply of timber for the stove. Must try the wood burning hot tub next time in the summer! Thanks Callum.

We stayed in the woodsman cabin for three nights and wished we could have stayed there forever. It is in the most beautiful, tranquil position. It was clean, comfortable and it felt very luxurious having the wood fired hot tub. Instructions provided by the hosts were perfect. We love what has been done and how secluded it is with the planting. We had a great time at the local pub one evening , the dean heritage centre particularly the playground and walking in the woods. Other highlights were over farm on the way there and leaf creative nursery. We also spent some pocket money in the nether end stores also well worth checking out. Tips- Bring all the supplies you might need eg toilet roll, milk or buy from the local shop on the way as once you get there you may not want to leave again. Thank you very much indeed.
